Refund & Cancellation Policy

At CurrentPrep, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which refunds are available for our different products and subscription tiers.

All refunds are processed through Razorpay and credited to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of approval.

1. Single Tests (₹39 – ₹199)

2. Test Packs (₹599 – ₹1,399)

3. Pro Monthly (₹349/month + GST)

  • Cancel anytime: You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time. Your Pro access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
  • No partial refunds: We do not provide refunds for partial months. If you cancel on day 10, you still have access until day 30.
  • Auto-renewal: Monthly subscriptions auto-renew. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next month.
  • First-time subscribers: If you cancel within the first 48 hours and have not accessed any premium content, a full refund is available.

4. Pro Yearly (₹2,499/year + GST)

Note: If you cancel a yearly subscription, your Pro access continues until the subscription end date. You will not be charged for the next year.

5. Early Access (Free Pro)

The Early Access program provides free Pro access for 12 months in exchange for platform feedback. Since no payment is involved, no refund is applicable. Early Access subscriptions cannot be transferred or converted to paid subscriptions.

6. Technical Issues & Exceptions

We understand that technical issues can affect your experience. The following situations qualify for special consideration:

  • Payment charged but service not activated: Full refund or immediate manual activation.
  • Double/duplicate charge: Full refund of the duplicate amount.
  • Platform outage during a timed test: Free replacement test or refund at your choice.
  • Incorrect pricing displayed: Refund of the difference or full refund at your choice.

7. How to Request a Refund

  1. Email us at support@currentprep.in with the subject line “Refund Request”.
  2. Include the following in your email:
    • Your registered email address
    • Order ID / Transaction ID (from your payment confirmation email)
    • Product/plan purchased
    • Reason for refund
  3. We will review your request and respond within 2 business days.
  4. If approved, the refund will be credited to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

8. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Account suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service (including credential sharing).
  • Dissatisfaction with exam results or study outcomes (we do not guarantee exam results).
  • Change of mind after accessing premium content (beyond the applicable refund window).
  • Failure to cancel auto-renewal before the renewal date (contact us within 48 hours for goodwill consideration).

9. Consumer Rights

This refund policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with the appropriate Consumer Forum or Consumer Commission in India.
